BARNSLEY INJURY LIST REVEALED

Barnsley stunned a lot of Championship watchers with their impressive form in the final weeks of last season under the watchful eyes of Frenchman Valerien Ismael. Their excellent form in the final weeks of the season ensured that the Owls finished in the playoffs before their wonderful journey was stopped in the semi-finals by Welsh team Swansea City.

The Owls lost Ismael to West Brom in the summer and the team has not remained the same. Barnsley have struggled for form since the start of this season and they are in the bottom three on the league standings at the moment. Also, they are on the search for a new manager in the bid to get out of trouble in the Championship. Jo Laumann is the caretaker manager at Barnsley and he understands that the club’s fans can’t wait to have a new manager in the dugout as revealed in an interview with Barnsley Chronicle.

Barnsley fans would be hoping that they can have a new manager in place before they take on a Fulham side who are the most in-form team in the Championship. Hosts Fulham are massive favourites ahead of the Championship game billed for Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Ahead of the trip to Fulham, Barnsley have some injuries to contend with. Carlton Morris has been restricted to two appearances this season due to a knee injury picked up during the league clash with Coventry City, but he’s on course to make his third appearance of the season against Fulham having recently returned to training.

New signing ObbiOulare had to wait till last month to make his debut for Barnsleydue to injury and visa issues. He missed the last league game against fellow strugglers Hull City just before the current international break and he’s expected to be back for the Fulham game.

AapoHalme is another injury worry for the Owls as he has not played since he suffered a knock in training two months ago.
